Welcome to the city that never sleeps! There is so much to do, see, and experience. You will fall in love with this city and never want to leave. But, alas, it is not for everyone to exist here. If you are here just for the pizza and bagels, then you should probably just move to New Jersey and visit every now and then… That being said, the bagels and pizza are a VERY tempting reason to stay. Like, dang, you cannot get better dough anywhere else. There are so many hypothesis on why NYC pizza dough and bagels are so good—some say the water others say the melting pot of cultures who came to the island with their own recipes and eventually they all got combined. But really, it's good because of the NYC spirit. That might sound cheesy, but a classic cheese slice in NYC taste so much better after a wild night at 4AM. And an NYC bagel taste better in the oldest most decrepit bakeries tucked into the pockets of not-as-touristy neighborhoods when you're fighting that hangover from the previous night when you had the 4AM slice.
